Wharton School's Band & Chorus were awarded the NAMM Foundation award for the 2025 Best Communities for Music Education District. Last night our band a chorus gave a brief performance and had a pizza party to celebrate their achievement. We will also have a plaque hung in our school to honor this award.

What a wonderful experience our Hispanic Heritage Celebration was for our families, students, and staff! Our students & families set up tables and taught us all a little bit about their culture and shared some wonderful authentic dishes! Thank you to everyone who came together and made this such an incredible experience.

Thanks to a PTA mini grant, Kindergarten is loving getting to know their stuffed animals which come with a real life tracker! These lucky students get to take turns taking their animal home and journaling all the fun activities they do together!

Seeing our whole school —students and staff, walking together sends a powerful message: You are not alone, and it’s always okay to ask for help. The walk may be over, but the work isn't. 🎨🔬 Our 5th graders are turning into forensic scientists!

Today, students dove into the colorful world of chromatography! They learned all about separating mixtures by seeing how the different colors in markers travel up paper at different speeds. Talk about science in action! Ask your student what new colors they discovered hidden in their black marker!

Book inspired fun in the kindergarten library class today. 🍎🦁After reading Ten Apples on Top!, students became engineers and tried their hands at stacking different objects. Patience was key, and the giggles were high! A great lesson on balance and persistence.

Our 6th grade class is selling ice pops, after school in front of MacKinnon, for $1.00 each. Come support their class and cool off after a long day of school work!

Nice work out there today! Although the teachers left the winners today, our 8th graders gave it there all on the volleyball court!

Apple day was a huge success in Kindergarten! Students made homemade apple sauce, had a sink or float investigation, a taste test, and made apple tree name crafts!
