The Wharton Borough Public Schools are turning heads and warming hearts with their 2025 Art Show, now open to the public at the Wharton Public Library. Featuring the creative work of more than 160 student artists from Pre-K through 8th grade, this year’s exhibit is the largest in the district’s history.
The art show, which will run through June 9, is located on the second floor of the library in the public art gallery. Visitors are invited to stop by during the library’s regular business hours to admire the wide variety of student artwork, ranging from colorful paintings and mixed media to thoughtful drawings and whimsical creations.
“We value our partnership with the town library and are grateful to be invited back year after year. "It's a fantastic opportunity to showcase student work, and do so in a truly unique space within the MAIN library network,” said art teacher Mr. Vekete. “Displaying work in the gallery”, he went on to say “Allows for increased visibility, highlights the students' achievements within our program and demonstrates the district's high value in the arts”.
