The school year has officially kicked off and we are on our way into the 25-26 School Year. The purpose of this email is to remind you of the MacKinnon Middle School “Back to School Night.” Back to school night will be held this Wednesday, the 10th of September. Please note that we ask that this be a night only for Parents/Guardians. Please make arrangements for child care.
The evening of the event, upon your arrival there will be a brief presentation in the gymnasium starting around 6:30. All parents are to enter the building through the doors located in the rear of the building by the gymnasium (Access to the rear lot is off of Lafayette Street). Parents are encouraged to arrive to take their seat in the gym by 6:30. Parents/Guardians will be released from the gymnasium at 7 pm, or just prior, to make their way to their child’s first period class. We will be following an “A” day on your child’s schedule. Please be sure to bring a copy of your child’s schedule with you. The first meeting with the teachers is at 7:05.

Period 2: 7:15-7:23
Period 3: 7:25-7:33
Period 4: 7:35- 7:43
Period 6: 7:45- 7:53
Period 7: 7:55- 8:03
Period 8: 8:05- 8:13
Period 9: 8:15-8:23
This night will be reserved for receiving information from the teacher(s) that is class specific. Individual questions you have about your child can be held during individual parent/teacher conferences (held in November)). As always, you can either call and leave a message or send an email to the particular teacher if you have questions or concerns prior to the conferences.
