Dr. Sanchez joins Wharton following an exceptional tenure as Executive Director of Unity Charter School in Morristown, where she demonstrated outstanding leadership and a commitment to educational excellence and development of the whole child. During her time at Unity Charter School, Dr. Sanchez led the school's remarkable journey from a Tier III to a Tier I performing institution, while establishing numerous innovative programs and partnerships. Under her leadership, Unity Charter School achieved recognition as a National School of Character, earned Sustainable Jersey for Schools Silver certification, and formed strategic partnerships with prestigious institutions including Johns Hopkins University and Yale University.
