Who is eligible?
All members of WESPA, as well as the three confidential central office employees, will be eligible for the award.

What is the nomination/selection process?
Nominations can come from any employee of the Wharton Board of Education (a colleague or s supervisor), a student, or a parent.  The written nomination is due by the last school day of the month and should clearly state the special deeds or contributions of the staff member being nominated. The Wharton School Pride Committee will convene to make the monthly selection.

How will the monthly recipient be honored?
The Support Staff Member of the Month will be interviewed/photographed by a reporter from the MacKinnon School student newspaper, “The Buzz, ” and be featured in the next edition. An annual plaque will be prominently displayed and each monthly award winner’s name will be engraved on one of the removable plates.
